What does ServiceNow SPM consulting include?
Inforedge’s proposed service covers portfolio process assessment, operating-model design and a prioritized roadmap. Implementation adds the separately contracted configuration, data and reporting scope; enhancement and managed services are optional follow-on stages.
Can we start with assessment only?
Yes. Assessment and advisory can be a standalone engagement. Implementation begins only after scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria are agreed.
What access and licensing are required?
Assessment requires sample demands / projects, process documentation and relevant resource / financial definitions. Implementation requires appropriate ServiceNow SPM licenses, a platform administrator, non-production access and approved permissions. Existing-instance reuse depends on its release and configuration.
How are integrations and exclusions handled?
Agree the data sources, integration boundaries and reconciliation criteria during discovery. Custom integrations, historical data cleanup, additional modules and enterprise-wide process redesign require explicit scope. Capacity planning depends on usable resource data.
What responsibilities stay with the customer?
Provide an executive sponsor, business decision owners, platform access and timely approvals. The customer owns investment decisions, data quality, licensing, security authorization and business acceptance.
What determines the timeline and cost?
Portfolio breadth, process maturity, data quality, integrations, licensing and stakeholder availability drive the plan. Discovery establishes milestones and commercial scope; no fixed timeline, price or savings guarantee is implied.
What happens after implementation?
Complete business acceptance, an agreed stabilization period and knowledge transfer to a named operational owner. The runbook and support plan define triage and responsibilities. Enhancement or managed services follow under a separate agreement.
